The homemade scones!!! WOW!! So good, worth stopping in for and good coffee to accompany them. The mediocre rating? The staff. There were two young women behind the counter and neither one was friendly or offered a smile. The attitude given was they were "put out" to do their job. Very disappointing. Received a friendly greeting from other customers. Will stop again, could have been an off day but would consider other options.
MoreLove mornings here with a coffee and home baked muffin or scone. The pies are incredible as well!
MoreAmazing baked goods!
Best raspberry muffin!!
Love this place. Local with great client service!
Not your ordinary scone. I loved the blueberry and the lemon. Blueberry pie was amongst the best pies ever. Almost as good as grandmaβs peach cobbler. Bought a bunch of scones to bring home to Arkansas. Not a one made it. My highest recommendation.
MoreNice views but expensive for the portion size on food.
These scones and pies are out of this world!
Great food and great location!
Great homemade baked goods
Great pies
You have to get there early and grab the scones. Not just one. Trust me: grab one of each. (I love the lemon scones.) Then go back for a fresh sandwich and chowder for lunch or dinner.
MoreGood cheap coffee. Parking for the day $ 5
We had great sandwiches and a delicious pie.
Great lobster rolls. Good iced tea, too. Beautiful location.
Best scones I have ever had! The sandwiches are amazing and the view is worth the drive out there.
MoreFood good, outside seating marvelous, service pleasant, and backed goods plentiful.
MoreBought a carry out hot quart of the seafood chowder. The flavor of the chowder was excellent but man...where is the seafood? For $15 there should have been much more substance. I wouldn't go back.
MoreThe lobster roll was just ok.
Awesome turkey sandwich on homemade bread, great outdoor eating area overlooking the cove. Will be back for breakfast :)
MoreThe most heavenly blueberry pie with excellent butter crust! Also must try their blueberry scones and muffins, with buttery texture and juicy blueberries. The chowder is full of clams and seafood and taste of the ocean. Come with family for an outdoor breakfast or lunch with panoramic view of the bay.Free parking lot, can order ahead, and friendly attentive service. Hours may vary from Google maps. Call to verify, baked goods might sell out early.
MoreGreat food beautiful view of the ocean .
Had lobster rolls here two years in a row.
Nice for lunch. Great pies, muffins and scones to! There's also a generous porch and picnic tables right on the water. Try the large coffee, you'll be surprised. The prices are very reasonable and the views alone are worth the visit.
MoreNice view, good breakfast.
The best blueberry pie! Nice view and better people.
I went here on vacation with my family. They have the most delicious muffins I have ever tasted. Very tasty food and very good service, also very clean as well!
MoreCool
Scones
This is a real gem in Harpswell, especially if you are an early riser and a decent cup of coffee is your first order of the day. The scone simply has no match anywhere else I know of. the outside surrounding is heavenly. Sitting a few feet away from the ocean water, under Maine's summer morning sun, with a coffee and a few scones, it is as good it gets in anyone's life:) The service was good. The young ladies did not give us much a smile in the first couple of days. However, after the third visit, we became acquainted and had lovely talks. I really miss the place......
MoreU won't find a better place to relax and enjoy breakfast while taking in the Maine coast. The scones are exceptional
MoreFood is fresh and lovely
Nice little place but each out for poison ivy in there outside seating area just a heads up they done have a bathroom
MoreWent for lunch yesterday....very disappointed. I ordered a half of a turkey and cheddar sandwich on molasses bread with lettuce and tomato. I wish I had taken a picture...cheese slice was about 3 inches long and 1 inch wide and one tiny piece of turkey smaller than the cheese. The lettuce was about the same size, and the tomato was really a sliver that hardly showed. This was NOT okay considering it was over $4.00!!! The one slice of molasses bread was very good! I won't return! The reviews seemed positive, so we went to enjoy lunch by the water. The view was the highlight.
MoreThere seafood chowder was delicious π€ ππ
No running water π«
Great view, good scones. Watch out for guy in red Triumph, drives like a maniac.
It was one of the few places to get breakfast on the island. It's a decent cafe and store. It's not full service, it mostly has sandwiches and drinks and they have a seating area around the back facing the water. It's also connected to a shop that has canoeing and kayak rentals.
